(Estherville)– The Board of Trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College approved a 28E agreement with the Estherville Airport Commission during their monthly meeting Tuesday. The agreement is scheduled to go into effect this coming January 1st.

Trustees also approved grant applications through the Palo Alto County Gaming Development Corporation for new training equipment at the Smith Wellness Center in Emmetsburg and to replace to HVAC units serving a library that’s shared by Iowa Lakes Community College and the city of Emmetsburg.

An agreement between ILCC and the Board of Regents designating an Iowa Lakes employee to serve as a Transfer Specialist was also approved. Vice President of Academic Affairs at Iowa Lakes, Kyle Norris, says the agreement with the Western Iowa Regents Resource Center will allow the college to expand educational opportunities for students.
