ILCC Trustees Accept Donated Equipment

November 22, 2014

(Estherville)– The Iowa Lakes Community College Board of Trustees Tuesday approved two donations of equipment.

Freewave is donating six wireless Ethernet transmitters with power supplies and antennas. The equipment will be used as teaching tools in the Wind Energy and Turbine Technology program.

In addition, trustees accepted to donation of a round baler to the college’s agricultural programs. Officials say the baler had been on display last week at the Clay County Fair and was delivered to the Emmetsburg campus. It will allow students to learn the set up and maintenance of the equipment.
Jolene Rogers, Executive Director of Institutional Advancement, says the new equipment will offer Iowa Lakes to provide even more exciting opportunities to its students.
A dollar value of the donated equipment wasn’t immediately available.
