ILCC To Offer Certification For Renewable Energy Program

(Estherville)– The Renewable Energy Program at Iowa Lakes Community College is getting some more prestige. Jolene Rogers, Executive Dean of Institutional Advancement at ILCC tells KUOO news they’ve formalized a partnership agreement with the National Coalition of Certification Centers, or NC3…(click here for comment from Rogers.)

Rogers says the industry certification will put students, as well as current technicians who can now also get the certification through Iowa Lakes Community College, in high demand with public and private energy providers…(click here for comment from Rogers.)

Rogers says the NC3 agreement will allow the college to bring together industry partners such as Trane and Snap-On Tools to provide them with industry expertise.

She says the fact Iowa Lakes is now offering the NC3 program is further indication to the college’s commitment to providing quality education and programs. The college’s President, Val Newhouse, serves on the NC3 Advisory Board.
