(Estherville)– Some students from Iowa Lakes Community College recently participated in Leadership in Action week at the Iowa State Capitol. The event was held from February 17th through the 21st. It was hosted by community colleges from throughout the state to give students opportunities to engage in legislative advocacy, to celebrate achievements and highlight career and technical education programs.
Another key highlight of the week was Community College Day on the Hill where Iowa Lakes Community College featured its Nursing program and the collaborative effort the college has with Kossuth Regional Healthcare.
