(Estherville)– The Iowa Lakes Community College Student Senate is hosting their annual Trunk or Treat event from 5:00 to 6:00 this Friday, Halloween, at the Estherville campus of Iowa Lakes Community College. Student Senate Advisor Cory Meyer explains what to expect that night…
“So we’re inviting all of the community to come out and kind of do a trunk or treat event. We’ll have various groups from campus, everything from our campus ministry group to our student senate, softball, a couple of athletic departments. Kids can come around, get some candy and spend their time having a safe and warm trunk or treating experience.”
The trunk or treat event will take place in the Christianson Building on the Iowa Lakes Estherville campus. Meyer says it’s a safe way to celebrate Halloween…
“It allows them to kind of be in that safe environment but also kind of get that same experience and it’s great for the littles to have the same experience as the older kids without having to run around.”
The event will be from 5:00 to 6:00 on Friday night at the Christianson Building on the Estherville Campus of Iowa Lakes Community College and everyone is welcome to attend.
