(Estherville)– The Aviation and Airport Management program at Iowa Lakes Community College is getting some special recognition. Flying Magazine has ranked Iowa Lakes as the nation’s leading community college aviation program and third among all college-based aviation programs in the U.S.
The magazine ranked college aviation programs on five categories including industry partners, value, fleet, campus life and facilities and location. Iowa Lakes Community College scored 41 out of 50 possible points.
The Aviation and Airport Management program has been offered at Iowa Lakes for more than 40 years. It’s undergone significant growth and improvements over the past three years.
