(Arnolds Park)– Several awards were presented Friday evening during the annual dinner and celebration of the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. Mau Marine won the social media award; The Pearson Lakes Art Center was the recipient of the small business of the year award; and Bank Midwest was honored the large business award.
This year marks the 50th anniversary for the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. A portion of Friday night’s celebration consisted of a video highlighting the organization’s history. It featured interviews with two long-time former Executive Directors for the organization, Tom Tourville and Tom Kuhlman.
The Chamber also gave a special recognition to The Richter Family and The Three Sons for their contributions to the Iowa Great Lakes community.
