I90 Motorcycle Crash Injures Two (1)

November 22, 2014

(Worthington, Mn.)– A motorcycle crash Saturday on Interstate 90 east of Worthington sent two people to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 42-year-old Michael Settergren of Hortonville, Wisconsin was driving a 2001 Harley Davidson eastbound when the rear tire blew, causing the spokes to give out. Troopers say the bike then wobbled, causing Settergren to lose control, tipping the bike over onto the roadway.

Settergren and a passenger, 39-year-old Linda Klevesahl of Freedom, Wisconsin, were both treated for minor injuries at Sanford Hospital in Worthington and were released.

The crash took place shortly before 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
