(Fairmont, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision late Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 90 in Martin county sent one person to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 75-year-old Richard Doocy of Lone Rock, Iowa was eastbound. Authorities say he was attmepting to change lanes to turn in a cross-over when he broadsided a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Stacy Barr of Bagley, Wisconsin.
Doocy was taken by ambulance to the Fairmont hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. No injuries were reported to Barr.
Severe damage was reported to a 2004 Buick LeSabre driven by Barr and a 1999 Dodge Caravan driven by Doocy.
The collision took place shortly before 5:00 p.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
