(Welcome, Mn.)– A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 west of Welcome early Saturday sent two people to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 52-year-old Bruce Hoy of Austin was eastbound when he swerved to miss a deer. The 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee he was driving left the road and rolled, ending up on its wheels.
Hoy and a passenger, 52-year-old Arlina Ozuna of Austin, were taken to the Fairmont hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
Moderate damage was reported to the vehicle.
The crash took place shortly after 2:00 a.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and the Sherburn Police Department.
