(Lakefield, Mn.)—Only minor injuries were reported in a semi rollover early yesterday (Mon.) on Highway 86 just north of the Iowa/Minnesota border.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 27-year-old Matthew Lentsch of Stewart, Minnesota was driving a 1998 Peterbuilt semi pulling a trailer loaded with 160 head of hogs when he lost control as he rounded a curve. The trailer rolled on its side.
Minor injuries were reported to Lentsch, who declined immediate treatment. 20 head of hogs were killed in the crash.
The semi and trailer were totaled.
The crash took place shortly before 3:00 a.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
