Hwy 71 Crash Injures Jackson Teen

(Jackson, Mn.)– A single-vehicle crash Monday evening on Highway 71 north of Jackson injured a teen.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a vehicle driven by 16-year-old Zachery Paulson of Jackson left the road. Troopers say Paulson then over-corrected, causing the vehicle to roll. It wound up sliding on its roof.

Paulson was taken to Sanford Hospital in Jackson where he was treated for minor injuries.

A damage estimate to the vehicle wasn’t immediately available.

The crash took place shortly after 10:00 p.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Minnesota State Patrol, the Jackson ambulance and the Jackson Fire Department.
