Hwy 60 Crash South Of Worthington Injures Six

(Worthington, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision on Highway 60 south of Worthington shortly before Noon Tuesday injured six people.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 50-year-old Cheri Macartney of Rosemount, Minnesota was southbound when she lost control on the icy road and skidded into the path of an oncoming vehicle driven by 24-year-old Lindsay Aho of Mankato.

Macartney and two passengers in her vehicle, 25-year-old Peter Macartney of Rosemount, Minnesota and 25-year-old Amber Halberg of Roseville, Minnesota were taken by ambulance to Sanford Hospital in Worthington. Cheri and Peter Macartney were transferred to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls where they were listed in critical condition. Minor injuries were reported to Halberg.

Aho was taken to Sanford Hospital in Worthington along with two passengers in that vehicle: 49-year-old Joel Aho and six-year-old Allison Aho…both of St. Peter, Minnesota. All three were treated for minor injuries.

A 2002 Jeep Liberty driven by Macartney and a 2006 Ford pickup driven by Aho were both totaled.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
