(Wilder, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision late Wednesday afternoon on Highway 60 near Wilder in Jackson county sent two people to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Minnesota State Patrol says it was a rearend collision involving vehicles driven by 84-year-old Cletis Haynie of Red Oak, Iowa and 28-year-old Sonya Daberkow of Lakefield.
Haynie and a passenger in his vehicle, 78-year-old Marjorie Haynie of Red Oak, were both taken to Sanford Hospital in Windom where they were treated for minor injuries and released. No injuries were reported to Daberkow or to a passenger in her vehicle.
Severe damage was reported to a 1995 Buick driven by Haynie and to a 2009 Chevrolet driven by Daberkow.
The collision took place shortly before 4:30 p.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office.
