Historic Arnolds Park Hires New Communications Director

(Arnolds Park)– Historic Arnolds Park, Incorporated, or HAPI, has a new Communications Director.

Longtime lakes area resident Di Lorenzen has been hired to the position. Her duties will consist of handling advertising, promotions and marketing for Arnolds Park, the Raceway, Queen Two, Majestic Pavilion and the Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum. She will also be working with concert sponsors.

Lorenzen says she and everyone else associated with HAPI are looking forward to the park’s grand opening for the upcoming season. Among other things, she says the historic attraction will be featuring some new rides…(Click here to hear comment from Lorenzen…)

Arnolds Park will open its gates for the first time this season at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19th. The park will be open daily beginning Memorial Day weekend.
