Highway 60 Crash Injures Teen

(Worthington, Mn.)– A single-vehicle crash Saturday on Highway 60 east of Worthington injured a Heron Lake teen.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 18-year-old Cody Malcolm of Heron Lake was driving a 1996 Oldsmobile westbound when he fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle drifted off the road and collided with a sign.

Malcolm was taken to the Worthington hospital where he was treated for a minor injury. The vehicle was totaled.

The crash took place around 11:00 a.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
