Heating Costs For Some Local Residents May Go Down Next Winter

November 22, 2014

(Lincoln, Neb.)– Some people could have lower bills for natural gas next winter.

Black Hills Energy says wholesale prices in April were the lowest in seven years, and the company has been buying some of that cheaper gas.

Black Hills Vice President Trent Cozad said in a company news release that “only time will tell how much” customers will save.

Black Hills Energy is based in Rapid City, South Dakota.

It has about 553,000 customers in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas and Wyoming and about 197,000 customers in 110 eastern Nebraska communities.
