Hartley Man Escapes Serious Injury In Rollover

November 22, 2014

(Hartley)– A Hartley man escaped serious injury in a single-vehicle rollover early Saturday.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Jeremy Stuart of Hartley was westbound on 310th Street about a mile north of Hartley when he apparently fell asleep. The vehicle went into the south ditch where it struck a field drive and rolled…coming to rest on its top.

Stuart complained of possible injuries but wasn’t transported to a hospital.

A thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix he was driving.

Stuart was cited for failure to maintain control.

The crash took place around 5:30 a.m.
