(Milford)—Charges have been filed against a Harris man accused of kidnapping and sexually abusing a Milford woman.
44-year-old Walter Norem has been charged with 1st degree kidnapping, three counts of 1st degree sexual abuse…class “A” felonies; willful injury…a class “C” felony; and strangulation…a class “D” felony
Norem was being held in the Dickinson county jail on a $52,000 bond.
Court documents say Norem allegedly took the victim against her will from a Milford apartment complex in the early morning hours of November 15th and brought her to his residence near Harris “with the intent to inflict serious injury and/or subject her to sexual abuse”.
A hearing in the case is scheduled for Monday in Dickinson County District Court.
