(Hartley)– The American Government class at Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn High School held a mock election Friday among the student body.
65.5 percent of H-M-S High School students participated in the election.
Results, for President: John McCain/Sarah Palin received 76 votes while Barack Obama/Joe Biden had 71; for U-S Senate, Tom Harkin had 70 votes while Christopher Reed received 52 votes. And for U-S House of Representatives, Steve King received 98 votes; Rob Hubler had 28 and Victor Vara 8.
