(Milford)– A West Okoboji man wanted on O’Brien county warrants for harrassment was taken into custody Thursday.
Milford police say they were notified shortly before 11:30 am Thursday that 26-year-old Keaton Leach was wanted on the warrants and that he had a potential to be violent toward law enforcement officers and was likely armed. The H.E.A.T., High-risk Entry Arrest Team, was then activated. Officers eventually made contact with Leach and he was taken into custody without incident.
Leach was booked into the Dickinson county jail on a new charge of violation of a no contact order along with the active arrest warrants from O’Brien county.
Milford police were assisted by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, Arnolds Park Police Department, the H.E.A.T tactical team and EMS personnel.
