(Spencer)– A Greenville woman is accused of stealing money from her former employer.
Spencer Police have charged 49-year-old Lori Bonine with theft in the first degree, fraudulent practices first degree and identity theft.
Bonine is accused of embezzling more than $27,000 over an eight month period from June of 2010 through January, 2011 from National Cash in Spencer.
Police say the investigation stems from a report on April 29th in which an area business reported a theft by an employee.
Bonine was released after posting bond.
