Grant Awarded To Assist Dislocated Workers Affected By Closure Of RR Donnelley In Spencer

(Washington, D.C.)– It was announced today (Wednesday) the U.S. Department of Labor has awarded a National Emergency Grant to Iowa Workforce Development to assist workers affected by layoffs resulting from the closing of the RR Donnelley facility in Spencer.

The grant award is in the amount of 664,074-dollars.

The funding will assist workers in Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Kossuth, O’Brien and Palo Alto counties that were displaced as a result of the plant shutdown.
