(Storm Lake)– Governor Terry Branstad is bringing his call for property tax relief reform to northwest Iowa.
The Governor will hold a town hall meeting this Friday, March 23rd, at 3:00 p.m. at the Regatta Grill Restaurant at King’s Pointe in Storm Lake.
The Governor has been traveling around the state promoting his plan for permanent property tax relief for all classes of property.
Friday’s session in Storm Lake will be the 8th such event he’s held on the matter.
Various reform measures are being bandied about in the legislature, but there’s concern over how the reduced tax revenue would affect local government.
