Gov. Kim Reynolds Issues Disaster Proclamation For Several NW Iowa Counties

(Des Moines)– Governor Kim Reynolds has issued a disaster proclamation for several northwest Iowa counties heavily impacted by Monday night’s severe weather. The proclamation includes O’Brien, Osceola and Sioux counties. It allows state resources to be used to assist in clean-up operations. It also activates the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program and the Disaster Case Advocacy Program for those counties.

The proclamation is effective immediately and will expire this coming August 28th.
