(Okoboji)– A new grant will help expand classes at the Pearson Lakes Art Center.
The grant from Google, said to be “major”, has been awarded for new programs geared toward teens and adults.
PLAC officials say it will allow them to offer classes on Photoshop, digital photography and video making for teens.
It has also allowed for the installation of WIFI in the center, along with new laptop computers to assist instructors and students.
The facility plans to announce new programs in the future.
