(Arnolds Park)– A reminder for those who operate golf carts on city streets in Arnolds Park: it’s time to renew permits. City code requires the permits, which will be valid for 2025 and 2026. The cost is $50 for each permit issued.
Police Chief Al Kruger says the requirement applies to both residents and non-residents. Permits and renewals are available at city hall Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. You must show proof of insurance and driver’s license information. Failure to have a valid permit means you’ll be subject to a $100 fine.
Kruger also reminds everyone golf carts in Arnolds Park can only be operated on city streets. They are NOT allowed on Highway 71, and may only cross the highway. More information on can be found at arnoldsparkcity.com or by contacting city hall.
