(Orleans)– Operations at the fish hatchery in Orleans have now kicked into high gear. Gillnetting for walleye and muskie got underway Friday night and will continue over the next several days and nights.
As a result, Kim Hawkins, hatchery manager, says the facility is now open extended hours, including this weekend, for the public to view the fish and the operations.
