(Algona)– The Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office says a fugitive who had used multiple fake names to avoid law enforcement for years, was found working road construction in northern Iowa. During a traffic stop, deputies confirmed the identity of the fugitive as 34-year-old William O’Bryant Thompson of Jarratt, Virginia.
Investigators say there were multiple controlled substances found in the vehicle. He was taken into custody and faces multiple charges. Thompson will eventually be extradited to Virginia where he has numerous outstanding arrest warrants.
