(Worthington)-The Spring Concert Series is about to get underway at Memorial Auditorium in Worthington. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Friends of the Auditorium will present several concerts at Memorial Auditorium in Worthington this spring.
Managing Director Tammy Makram says, the series will kick off with ABBAsolutely Fab: Tribute to the Music of ABBA on March 16. “We were looking for a show for St. Patrick’s Day weekend, and this just seemed like something really fun to do. People will be in the mood to go out and do a little celebrating and have some fun. This particular group, ABBAsolutely Fab, is very famous in the Twin Cities, especially, they sell out all their shows when they’re at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre Fireside Room and a lot of other venues throughout Minnesota. They just seemed like the perfect group to bring in.”
She notes that there are several ways to purchase tickets. “Go online to our website and that is friendsoftheauditorium.com. We have a Box Office that’s open Monday through Friday from 9-1, so you can stop by at that time or call The Box Office at 507-376-9101.”
The concert will start at 7 o’clock Saturday night.
