(Redwood Falls, Mn.)—Minor injuries were reported in a freak accident Saturday on Highway 71 in Redwood county, Minnesota.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 61-year-old Robert Larson of Ruthven was driving a 2011 Dodge pickup pulling a trailer loaded with a boat northbound when the trailer came unhitched. A 2006 Chrsyler van driven 72-year-old Kenneth Caller of Alexandria, Minnesota, who was southbound, then collided with the boat and trailer.
Caller was taken to the Redwood Falls hospital for treatment of non incapacitating injuries. No injuries were reported to Larson.
Moderate damage was reported to the van driven by Caller with minor damage to the pickup driven by Larson.
The incident took place shortly after 9:00 a.m.
