(Spencer)– Four girls will vie for Clay County Fair Queen this coming Sunday at the Clay County Regional Events Center in Spencer. Candidates include Linnea Bloom of Marathon, daughter of Stephen and Melanie Bloom; Aubrie Stell of Spencer, daughter of Jason and Melissa Stell; Kamdyn Van Gelder of Spencer, daughter of Jay and Shantel Van Gelder; and Addison Wyman of Spencer, daughter of Leah Wyman.
The Queen will represent the Clay County Fair at parades, during the queen contest at the Iowa State Fair, various celebrations throughout the summer and the Clay County Fair in September. She will also receive a number of valuable prizes including $1,500 in cash.
