(West Okoboji)– A major announcement late this (Mon.) morning regarding Lake Affect. In a post on Facebook Damon Dotson, the event’s founder and organizer, announced it will not be held this year.
In the post, Dotson says “I feel at this time I have exhausted all avenues and ideas to make it happen this year.” It goes on to say “We will continue to explore options for the coming years in hopes of resuming this Okoboji tradition”.
Dotson thanks everyone who made the event possible over the years at Little Miller’s Bay on West Lake Okoboji.
