(Spirit Lake)– Ann Ditsworth has received the Republican nomination for Dickinson County Recorder.
The former Lake Park Mayor was among three candidates vying for the G.O.P nomination at a special convention this past Saturday.
The other two candidates were Janelle Treganza, a deputy in the Recorder’s Office, and Jan Bowles.
Ditsworth’s name will appear on the November 6th General Election ballot for the position.
No word yet as to whether or not Dickinson county Democrats will hold a special convention to nominate someone from that party.
Long time Recorder Jan Bortscheller recently retired.
