(Spirit Lake)– Dickinson County Public Health is announcing it now has vaccine available for the traditional seasonal flu, but it could be several weeks yet before the H1N1 vaccine becomes available.
Mary Dunleavy of Dickinson County Public Health says now would be a good time to get vaccinated, in advance of the vaccine becoming available for the H1N1 strain.
Dunleavy says there have been no documented cases of H1N1 yet in Dickinson county, but she says that doesn’t mean there aren’t any, as not all potential cases are being tested.
Cost for the regular flu vaccine is 25-dollars per shot.
