(Des Moines)– Funnel week is where Iowa bills live or die at the Iowa State Capitol. This week is the first funnel week deadline of the legislative session. Bills that are not moved forward by Friday will be dropped.
Some of the bills being considered include one that would increase penalties for swatting, false reports that bring armed police. Another would allow doctors to refuse treatment for personal or religious reasons.
