(Milford)– No injuries were reported in a fire early Sunday at Pioneer Trailer Court in Milford.
The Milford Fire Department was called to lot 307 at 1411 6th Street just after 3:30 am. Officials say two firefighter EMT’s and an ambulance from Lakes Regional Healthcare were already at the trailer court for an unrelated medical call. The two firefighters immediately responded to the lot 307 location and found heavy smoke coming from the trailer. Additional crews from the Milford Fire Department then responded along with the Arnolds Park-Okoboji Fire Department.
As crews were arriving, police reported flames were coming through several windows and that no one was currently living in the unit which was declared a total loss. There’s no word on a possible cause of the fire. Firefighters were on the scene about four hours.
The Milford and Arnolds Park Police Departments, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and Communications Center, Milford Municipal Utilities and Black Hills Energy assisted on the scene.
