(Terril)– Fire Monday evening destroyed a garage in Terril. Authorities were called to 203 North 3rd Street a little before 9:00 pm and found the building engulfed. Firefighters managed to contain the blaze to the garage, which was not attached to a house.
There were no immediate reports of any injuries. There’s been no word on a possible cause.
Fire departments from Terril, Milford and Wallingford responded to the scene. Other details weren’t immediately available.
***UPDATE: Terril Fire Chief Tim Mathews tells KUOO news a number of items that were in the structure, including a motorcycle, were destroyed along with the building itself. He says three dogs were also in the garage. He says one reportedly got out, but two others did not. Mathews says firefighters were on the scene about two hours.
