(Undated)– The period in which to file nomination papers for November’s city elections in Iowa is quickly approaching.
The filing period begins Monday, August 29th and runs through September 22nd. Filing papers will be available at local city clerk offices.
All Mayoral seats are up for election in Dickinson county.
In Arnolds Park, city council seats held by John Adams, Jason Christensen and Jim Jensen will be up for election.
In Lake Park, city council seats held by Lori Eggers and John Woods will be on the ballot.
In Milford, council seats currently held by Rick Kilts and Todd Schillinger will be up for election along with a seat held by Andy Wintz on the Park Board.
In Okoboji, council seats held by Jim Delperdang and Jim Hentges will be on the ballot.
Council seats held by Jim Jackson and Bill Maas will be up for election in Orleans.
In Spirit Lake, city council seats held by Kevin Bice, Jerry Harbst and Jeff Thee will be up for election.
In Superior, council seats held by Michael Roach and Kevin Swalve will be on the ballot.
Three seats will be up for election on the Terril city council. Those are currently held by Mark Lair II, Julie Thiesen and Darrell Woods.
In Wahpeton, council seats currently held by Brad Jones and Phil Johnson are up for election; and in West Okoboji, three city council seats will be on the ballot. Those are currently held by Jim Ladegaard, Marcia Petersen and Paul Haywood.
