FEMA Opening Additional Disaster Recovery Center In NW Iowa

(Cherokee)– An additional Disaster Recovery Center will be opening in northwest Iowa. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) says a center in Cherokee county will be opening this Saturday, July 20th. It will be located at the Cherokee Emergency Management facility at the former Cherokee County Work Services Building at 322 Lake Street, Suite B in Cherokee. The center will be open this Saturday (July 20th) from 1:00 until 6:00 pm . Following that it will be open daily from 1:00 until 6:00 pm until further notice.

FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers are also located in Spencer, Rock Valley, Estherville and Rock Rapids:
