(Jackson, Mn.)– Jackson, Minnesota-based Federated Rural Electric Association has awarded a little more than $19,000 in grants through their Operation Round Up program. 22 organizations were awarded funding. Officials say 38 applications were received for the 62nd round of funding, totaling nearly $105,000. A list of recipients can be seen below.
The deadline for submitting applications for the next round of funding is February 13th, 2026.
About 73 percent of Federated Rural Electric members participate in Operate Round Up which allows their electric bills to be rounded up to the nearest dollar.
Organizations wishing to apply for funding through the program can go to federatedrea.coop to download an application form.

Lutheran Social Services, Jackson $500 Disposable trays for Jackson/Lakefield Meals on Wheels
