The Iowa Great Lakes Chamber Fall Fest is Saturday at Camp Foster

(Spirit Lake)– The Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber will host the annual Fall Fest on Saturday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Camp Foster. Chamber CEO Blain Andera says, many area businesses will provide free activities for kids and families.

“We’ve got 28 different businesses that will be sitting up with yard games and activities and fun things for the kiddos and it’s absolutely 100 percent free for families to come down and attend. Some of the fun things you’re going to find Boji Spuds is going to have sweet treats down there; Pure Fishing is going to have a fun fall activity; Mary Lynn Ingvall Real Estate team will be decorating; Polaris is going to have their spider box down there; the Humane Society with some kiddies and dogs; a bounce house. Just tons of fun things for the kids to do.”

He adds that transportation will be provided to the activities.

“If people are familiar with the people haulers at the Clay County Fair, we’ve got one of those down there and haul folks right down into camp. We also have Camp Foster providing a bus so they can hop on a bus and go down, and they’ve also put in a brand new sidewalk that will lead you right to all of the activities as well. I really do want to give a big shout out to Camp Foster for partnering with us again this year. It’s a great family, fun event that’s free. Certainly it’s fun to promote the businesses out there and have something fun for everybody at Camp Foster.”
