(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop Monday evening in Spirit Lake landed a Fairmont, Minnesota man in jail on multiple drug charges. 42-year-old Juan Roberto Rodriguez was arrested on charges of drug trafficking, a controlled substance violation, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of drug tax stamp violations.
A criminal complaint filed by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office alleges that Rodriguez was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over a little after 9:30 pm for speeding. A subsequent search resulted in the deputy finding drug paraphernalia, multiple bags of marijuana totaling more than 100 grams; five small bags of methamphetamine totaling more than 11 grams and several small containers and baggies with the residue of a white substance; and 335 dollars in cash.
Rodriguez is being held in the Dickinson County Jail.
