(Spencer)– An emotional exhibit titled “Remembering Our Fallen” opens Wednesday (July 6th) and runs through July 13th at the South Park Mall in Spencer.
The photo display pays tribute to the 72 Iowans killed in the War on Terror.
The exhibit was created by Bill and Evonne Williams of Omaha and is sponsored by Bellevue University. The American Legion of Iowa has endorsed the project.
An opening ceremony for the exhibit will be held Wednesday (July 6th) at 12 Noon at the South Park Mall. Keynote speaker will be State Representative Royd Chambers.
The exhibit will be on display through July 13th from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday and Noon to 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
There’s no admission fee to see the exhibit, which is open to the public.
The photo exhibit was unveiled at the Adel DeSoto Minburn High School in Adel, Iowa on May 1st of this year. It is currently traveling throughout the state.
