(Estherville)– An Estherville woman faces drug charges after an undercover investigation conducted by the Estherville and Fairmont, Minnesota police departments.
Estherville POlice Chief Eric Milburn says the operation was conducted August 16th at a city park in Estherville. During the operation, he says officers were able to purchase a quantity of methamphetamine from a female.
The suspect, 22-year-old Lindsay Haslip of Estherville, was arrested by Estherville police September 3rd on a warrant for delivery of a controlled substance…methamphetamine.
Haslip was booked into the Emmet county jail on a 50-thousand dollar bond.
The charge is a class “C” felony punishable by a prison term not to exceed 10 years, and a fine of atleast a thousand dollars but not to exceed 10-thousand.
It carries an enhanced penalty because the alleged violation took place within a thousand feet of a school or park.
