(Emmetsburg)– Drug charges have been filed against an Estherville man in connection with an investigation in Palo Alto county.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says it stems from an investigation they conducted after getting word of possible drug activity at 4768 280th Street.
Authorities say the investigation led them to 26-year-old Rodney Cruz of Estherville was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Cruz was booked into the Palo Alto county jail. He made an initial appearance before a magistrate and was released on a promise to appear in court at a future date.
