(Estherville)– The Estherville Chamber of Commerce has a new Executive Director.
Gene Haukoos, chairman of the Chamber’s board, announced today (Mon.) the hiring of Stephanie Neppl to the position, replacing Renee Stowell who’s stepping down.
Neppl, an Estherville native, has returned to the area after living overseas the past decade. She previously worked in Auckland, New Zealand in communications and public relations. She also spent six years working in New Zealand’s tourism industry. Prior to that she worked in Beijing, China in several media roles and taught English in South Korea. She has a Master’s Degree in Mass Communications from Drake University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Briar Cliff University.
An open house will be held to express best wishes to Stowell and to welcome Neppl this Friday, May 4th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Chamber office at 620 1st Avenue South in Estherville.
