(Spencer)– A joint investigation by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Department of Human Services into a sexual abuse case has resulted in the arrest of an Everly man.
18-year-old Trey Ginger of Everly is accused of having inappropriate contact with a child under 12 years of age.
Authorities say the incidents allegedly occurred on three different occasions.
Ginger was charged with three counts of sexual abuse in the second degree…all class “B” felonies.
Ginger was arrested at a residential treatment facility in Sheldon and was transported to the Clay county jail.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the Clay County Attorney’s Office and the Iowa Department of Human Services.
