(Spencer)– An Everly man already in jail on other charges now faces an additional charge of criminal gang participation.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the additional charge was filed against 18-year-old Trey Ginger last week after a search warrant was obtained for his cell phone back in June of this year.
Ginger was arrested based on the findings of an investigation which determined he and several others had allegedly been participating in criminal gang activity.
Authorities say the investigation stems from a criminal mischief case that was reported back on June 2nd of this year.
Criminal gang participation is a class “D” felony.
Ginger remains held in the Clay county jail.
