Estherville Woman Escapes Injury In Collision That Injures Two Others

(Sanborn, Mn.)– An Estherville woman escaped injury in a two-vehicle crash Monday in southwest Minnesota that sent two other people to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the collision took place at an intersection of Highway 71 and a county road in Redwood county involving vehicles driven by 86-year-old Virgil Norcutt of Sanborn, Minnesota and 26-year-old Jessica Vanloy of Estherville.

Norcutt and a passenger in his vehicle, 87-year-old Anna Norcutt of Sanborn, Minnesota, were both taken to the Springfield, Minnesota hospital where they were treated and released.

A 2004 Ford van driven by Norcutt and a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Vanloy were totaled.

The crash took place shortly before 2:00 p.m.
